COVID is no joke - people getting recurring symptoms many months after initial infection.

Povetkin looked ill probably didnt want to lose an opportunity for a cash grab, and decided if he loses they'll blame COVID and save face.

Whatever, the fight happened. Wasnt pretty. Not all fights are.

I like Povetkin a lot, I hope retires. But I said that three years ago and he put on decent shows in these three years. Lets see what happens.

No revenge took place - anymore than if I beat a guy in a backyard boxing match and then I had to tie one hand behind my back and he beat me while severely compromised. Povetkin was really ****** going through with this fight the way he looked fight week. He cashed out by taking a fight while sick and not in shape. If he thought he could land a big punch with half his burners working, that was even more ******.

Damn, I wasn’t aware of any COVID hospitalizations for Povetkin. But that was definitely cause to postpone the fight. Whyte looked good and fought a solid fight, shame that Povetkin wasn’t in top shape as well.
