So no, he didn't wait until GGG was "washed up" until wanting the fight.

Why do you keep bringing up Canelo here? Why are you assuming I am saying GGG made the wrong decision signing with DAZN? Just slow down next and read what I'm saying.
How was that fight gonna work if ggg took the pbc deal? He went with DAZN to get canelo, no?

Ggg has been slipping since the wade fight, whether he beat canelo or not, he still showed further signs of slippage. When charlo was asked about ggg a few years back, he was all sheepish saying he was young doe...now that ggg looked like a heavy bag with derev, here comes charlo. I’m just saying how guys like Andrade and charlo to a lesser extent as of late, have been content doing not much other than talking.

alot of these guys would compare him to hopkins and id say "hopkins didnt become great because of his MW reign...he did so by what he did after...moving up and such"...and theyd say "give him time...he just might"....

today his POS fans will say that canelo is scared of a 3rd fight while its not happening...if they signed to fight tomorrow immediately theyd say that he waited him out and golovkin is even older now

i dont know...golovkin is either slowing down or never really was as special as some tried to make him out to be....i think its a little of both

i think canelo gave him respect in the first fight...because he believed in the golovkin "legend" or "myth"....the second fight showed he feared little of golovkin...the 3rd fight hed fear even less and probably whoop him ....golovkin wont go near a charlo or andrade at this point and id bet just about anything on it.....

sure hes still competitive with and/or beats most MWs...but its apparent there some slippage
It’s both, he was hyped beyond what he’d proven, but he’s also clearly diminished.

Then you have plenty that think Canelo just completely whitewashes him in a trilogy and will stop him. Where is this all coming from? Golovkin being competitive with Dereveyanchenko means he is washed up? Dereveyanchenko is a quality fighter who gave Jacobs a great fight to the point many thought he won and then gave Charlo a nice fight. Just four years ago, Golovkin and Jacobs fought a really good tight fight and Derevyanchenko looks to be on the level of Jacobs. So is there any shame in Golovkin being in a tight fight against him? He is still KOing the likes of Rolls and other non-top 10 MWs the same way he has always done.

Golovkin is still a bad a$$ fighter and he's going to give everyone hell. I don't see many if any just completely washing through him. Canelo may beat him decisively or clearly in a trilogy but do I see him stopping him? Nope. And I feel and have felt for at least three years that Golovkin vs Charlo would be a complete WAR and FOTY candidate. I feel as confident for that fight delivering as pretty much any other minus the lower weight classes.

And just curious, would you prefer Golovkin to move up or stay at MW?
Dude isn't washed up yet shook. Avoiding Jermall Charlo & Boo Boo. For every Derev Borta fights Steve Rolls, Kamil, Vanes lmao. Duck is cashing out !?

Well, if he takes the PBC deal, then he wouldn't have gone to DAZN, at least not until after those two fights.

Charlo just fought Derevyanchenko so he is coming off fighting a good opponent. But GGG can retire if he feels he is past it and can't compete with the top guys. No one is preventing him from doing that. He's a champion right now so nothing wrong with wanting him to face the other champions at MW.

BJS and Plant are levels above Indongo. Lucky for Crawford those in-house unifications with guys like Indongo hyped Bud’s “Undisputed” claim. Notice Undisputed for Crawford was simply guys in that time during that time whom had belts with easy in-house unification, similar to Canelo with BJS and Plant, but Canelo has it more difficult with competition, different promotional outfits and different platforms. Bud was silver spooon fed. In other words... Canelo is the HNIC!

Bud is about to announce that he's going to fight Shawn Porter. Shawn Porter is just as good as anyone Canelo has a win over. If Bud beats him convincingly and with no controversy, then that will beat Canelo's best win easily.

He's not washed up but he's clearly declined. I thought he looked better against Szeremeta than he did against Derev though. I don't know how people can say that he might slightly be past his best or that he's slowed down a little bit. It's pretty ****ing clear he's not how he used to be. People say he was never fast but look at the speed and snap of his punches in his mid to late 20's compared to now and it's obvious he's declined.

Lol. Porter has how many losses? He’s fighting a guy Brook already beat...

like I said, Canelo is the HNIC!

I'd prefer him move up to 168 or even 175, if he feels he can compete there.

At 38, you're pretty much at the 'call your own shots' stage of your career. Really just about legacy and money fights at that stage. Moving up would be the best for his legacy. And then there are a few good money fights at 160 and above too.

Charlo and Andrade etc would be good fights and exciting. I would definitely tune in. But they aren't legacy fights. Those guys just aren't there yet. Kind of a symptom of the 'everyone waits around for Canelo' era that we are in. No one is really proving their worth.

BJS and Callum Smith are undefeated champions at 168. BJS, Smith, and Plant all deserve Canelo over any 160 pound fighter. Once you get to the 160 pounders GGG is still #1 and Charlo is #2 and Andrade #3.

God forbid Charlo and Andrade fight each other lmfaooo

Not to mention Jermall Charlo PASSED/DUCKED Canelo. Hell Jermell - Jermalls brother - confirmed it. Its hilarious that some fans are so selective about what information is real or fake...
