You’re confusing “cheating” with fighting dirty. It’s a fight!! Fury, Wilder, Ward... all these guys fight dirty the one whom should be disciplined are the refs chosen for favoritism or bias.

i don’t mind Ward holding and fighting on the inside with body shots. I’d say Ward’s dirtiest tactic is his masterclass headbutts, but the challenger should be ready at all times, protect themselves at all times.

I agree with what many other fans say or believe... if a guy strikes you dirty, retaliate. Seen Canelo throughout the years hit a guy back if they on that dirty play. We seen it. Canelo been deducted points for retaliating. He even hit Floyd back for doing gay stuff during a clinch.

kovalev could’ve easily hit Ward in the balls too. Sometimes fighters won’t give a fook and risk a point deduction just to get back. At least it makes it even because low blows can linger for a couple rounds. In a high profile fight that’s imperative, so the burden was on Kovalev for not fighting back dirty too
