White Man's Guilt? I'm white and from Texas and i like all boxers, black, brown, white, asian, whatever the **** color or race.

I don't have any white man's guilt because i wasn't at the Alamo and i didn't own a plantation or anything like that...

Really, to me, you can't be white and racist if boxing is your favorite sport because the White Americans never ****ing win!

Personally I saw it the other way with Lampley going wild whenever Oscar threw a combination, even though he missed most of the punches.

The HBO made it no secret that they didn't care for Pernell's style.

As James Toney would say "HBO stands for Home Boys Only" . as i recall Lampley and Foreman would go crazy over Oscar.

*** American commentators and *** HBO!

Well i thought Lampley was all over DLH's nuts on that telecast he was arguing with Roy Jones at one point. Lampley is a huge nuthgger of Oscar.

Each commentator has their favorites...it doesn't affect the outcome of the fight so I really don't care...

And idk wat it is with Foreman...Floyd was dominating Corrales and he only kept mentioning Diego's power and ****...

In other fights he said some strange **** too...

after watching oscar vs pernell few times, i realized that Pernell's skills was overrated, he is an excellent showboater that is all, his showboating created an illusion of a skillfull boxer.

if Pernell was really that good, he could have countered Oscar into submission after making him miss countless of times. He made Oscar miss but he didn't counter.

i don't hate Pernell but he is = Overrated.

And watch that part where Whitaker wrestles DLH to the ground and then retreats and raises his hands...wtf was that??!! And nobody says anything. But had Oscar done that...the problem is that Oscar wasn't yet a mega celebrity. But even when he was, HBO was still supporting Trinidad and Mosley!
Nice argument. I'm gonna add your scalp to my collection **** hate spreading pig.

This is definitely the first time I've ever heard anyone say that HBO was biased against Oscar De La Hoya.

That's rich. A **** hate spreading pig would not sport a BLACK fighter on his avatar, would he? Some guys are just idiots, no helping that.

Anyway, I think Foreman is the least biased of the commentators, he never cares where the fighter is from or if he is a "house fighter". He praised Vargas in the fight with Quartey while Lampley and Merchant were cheering every move Quartey made. And Quartey didn't do much in the fight.
