How come Jermell Charlo stopped wanting Canelo? Same age, size...

Even after Canelo moved on to Middleweight, the guy literally said Canelo ducked him... Jermell Charlo keeps telling fans to stop bringing up Canelo, “I’m at 154.”

keep in mind Jermell is bigger than Spence and Spence said he’d fight Canelo at 160.

Jermell is timing his cashout moment vs. Alvarez like Jermall, Caleb Plant etc

Jermell already exposed his twin bro that he rejected a Canelo fight.

Charlo never wanted Canelo. I'll repeat, Charlo. Never. Wanted. Canelo.

Canelo haters were the ones clamoring for the fight. They were the ones saying Canelo was ducking.

Charlo had the perfect opportunity to get Canelo this year. It's no secret what Canelo is going for, the WBO and IBF belts. He already had a fight lined up with BJS for May. And has said on multiple occasions that the IBF unification is in September for whoever has it. Again, for whomever has the belt. He said it multiple times. Multiple.

All Charlo had to do was pressure Haymon\PBC\Plant to get a summer fight to secure a September unification showdown. Is it that hard? Is that too much to ask for in a fighter? To earn the spot? To go out and get your chance at glory? Instead, what's he doing? Who's his next fight?

Like I said, Charlo never wanted it.

Very true. But I'd add, even if Charlo wasn't with Al Haymon, he should make the effort, as you mentioned, in the direction or roadblock for Undisputed. Instead, if and when Canelo does do Undisputed, that's when these guys will put themselves in positions like purse bids or pricing themselves that it looks like Canelo is ducking. It's a Haymon tactic

I don't believe all these PBC fighters who claim to want to face Canelo. These guys are just in the clout chasing business. I notice they usually ramp up the Canelo talk around the time Canelo is fighting, it gains bigger exposure.

Yet they go quiet when Canelo is actually looking for his next opponent.

They're not in the same weightclass. If Canelo is not interested in moving down to 160 for the bigger Charlo, why would it be any different for Jermell? It just doesn't make sense.

Jermell is just not using Canelo's name to build his own. Canelo is at 168 now, anyone calling him out should be at 168 or at least willing to fight at 168.

They are 2 weight classes apart lol. And 154 Charlo wants to tidy up his division, he has some unfinished business there.
