Sadly you could be right. He's already had a lot of girl drama.

But it's hard for a young man not to sow his wild oats, especially when there are so many willing females. Canelo has several baby mamas himself so maybe he can advise the kid on how to navigate that minefield.

This is for someone on the post. Ryan is Haney's mandatory not the other way around. Ryan doesn't have to pursue that fight because he doesn't hold the Jr. WBC title. I call it the Jr. Title because Teo holds the Fanchise WBC title at 135 which is above what Haney currently holds. Ryan vs Haney wouldn't draw the money that Ryan vs Davis will. It makes perfect sense to seek more money as a fighter just as Teo has for the Kambosos fight. Besides, Haney vs Rigondeux was a boring fight. I don't care much to watch Haney's style of fighting. I prefer Davis, Lopez, Loma or Garcia at 135. They have power to entertain

If Haney was seen as vulnerable then he would have guys lined up to face him. It’s only when you’re a threat that more popular fighters turn into businessmen and promoters (“who has he fought?”, “he’s not a draw”, ect). The funny thing is that the top guys could just name their price and Haney would probably be happy to play the B-side just to get them in the ring.
