Crawford: Vergil Ortiz has to EARN a fight with me

OK NSB, I'm expecting you to call this guy a diva like you did with Teo. Let's be consistent.
    • Doesn't want to fight Keef
    • Doesn't want to fight Porter
    • Didn't want to fight Danny Swift to avenge losing in the amateurs
    • Didn't want to fight Ugas to avenge losing in the amateurs
    • Didn't want to fight Mr. Gary Russell Jr. to avenge getting socked in the mouth
    • Pricing himself out with Spence
    • And now, doesn't want to fight Vergil

I think Arum will convince him to take the Ortiz fight. They should just try and push for it next. If Ortiz beats an even better opponent than Hooker then Crawford will never fight him. Arum needs to convince Crawford that this is the time to fight Ortiz when he is still vulnerable and not more of a threat later on.

I get it, he wants the fight to mean more. He would look like he beat on a "Green" fighter. But if he's not going to fight Porter, It's the next best thing right now.

If the fight happens I have Crawford by KO

Isn't that normally the case when challenging the champion? However, I just checked the WBO rankings and they have him at 2 behind Porter so I guess if Porter doesn't enforce his mandatory, Ortiz actually makes sense. Also, it might be in Bud's best interest to fight him now while he's still improving and while he's still close enough to his own prime.

Bud kills Danny. Besides Danny is moving up to 154.

As for Ortiz let the kid marinate his time will come.

            - -Bud more flaming diva than fighter these days doing an ACE job in making hisself irrelevant. Spence at least has Haymon's little buddies to fight once a year. Meantime for once Oscar starting to develop top guys besides Canelo, but allied with Hearns and DAZN greasing the gummed up match making works, good and great fights making a comeback making Haymon the class bully sitting in the Dunce corner with groundhog Russet Jr.

Crawford once said he would move up. Book that fight.

He might as well, there's nothing for him at 147. He's turned everyone down. Well, except 'Mile High' Mike Alvarado.

How did peg legged Jose Bumavidez earn a fight with him? How did washed up glass jaw Amir Khan earn a fight with him? How did washed up and weight drained quitter Brook earn a fight with him? Crawford supposedly wants a Spence fight but hasn't earned it by beating any top welterweight. The clown was asking 50/50 then 60/40 his way when he has less belts and draws less. Crawford is vastly overrated and over hyped for his trash resume. He is clearly ducking any good fights. His dumbass fangimps still back him since they have the IQ of a potato.

Crawford is really not doing himself any favors with the way he's been talking lately. I actually think he would take the fight, but he's not looking good right now in my opinion.

I don't quite see the hype with TC. He needed 11 rounds to get rid of a one legged Jose Benavidez Jr. He got rocked by little Gamboa. There's a lot that's been ignored while hyping his career. His speed is good. Timing is great. Power is above average. To me, Spence is the man at 147. And it's not that close. If Ortiz takes another 2 fights before TC, I'd take Vergil in TKO late rounds.
