Ortiz is definitely a better fighter than Jose Ramirez, but the kid needs more fights like Hooker. He need to learn how to put some variation in his punches. All he threw were power shots. They were effective, but someone like Crawford would read him easily.

Very good fight while it lasted, Ortiz is very solid. He can use a few more fights at this level before trying to go for Crawford. He would be outclassed quite easily if he actually gets that fight next.

Vergil was solid. I see improvement.

Crawford needed 12 rounds to get a one legged Jose Benavidez out. I don’t see anything special. Gamboa almost KO’d the guy. Lol. Don’t get me wrong, he’s good. But Spence mauls him. Ortiz needs 3-4 fights before taking the big jump.

That last bit by Hooker at the end, where he cursed the public. That's what's wrong with Hooker. He has some talent, but his heart isn't pure. Instead of getting up, and going after Ortiz, he takes it out on the crowd. Tough guy.
