Canelo, bivol and smith all are capable of beating beter but only smith has the power to do it by KO. Everything seems to be coming together for Smith since he dropped his construction job and committed to boxing full time. Of the 3 he clearly is behind them in skill level but he has the size and 1 punch KO power to put Beterbievs lights out imo.

Bivol beats him, Joe Smith is 50 -50 fight.

He looked like a crap, so maybe Canelo fights him.

Bertebiev is a bad matchup for canelo because he’s not a finesse fighter. Canelo has the boxer-puncher style down pat to destroy finesse type boxers with weak and/or long trunks. But he will struggle against compact fire-for-fire type fighters. Canelo would never fight bertebiev unless it is a mandatory.
If bertebiev is game, canelo ain’t walking him down. And I don’t think canelo would want to trade all night with someone as strong as bertebiev who has a decent chin.

Well the guy is 36 years old. He's not going to get any better, faster, or stronger at this point. This is usually what happens when fighters start hitting their mid to late 30's.

He’ll also delay the fight as long as possible like he did with ggg...that is if there’s ever any pressure for him to take a fight with beterbiev. When beterbiev shows the right amount of slippage, then we’ll start hearing about it.
