for what it's worth, there's a 2009 movie about the financial collapse, Freefall, british movie with a great cast since a few of them ended up on GoT and others had big roles elsewhere. in it is one character, a mortgage salesman played by Dominic Cooper who's good at his job but a complete POS.
Basically, im guessing at some point Eddie watched it and then he reinvented his image in that mould. Look at 2010 eddie hearn, he was like frank smith, a pleb, a 50 yr old codger at heart.
then a yr later he's obv watched Freefall and come up with all this new persona
