    Calzaghe UD

Calzaghe gets a sickening lack of respect on these boards sometimes, for me he takes it fairly comfortably. Even when Joe has boxed badly he still manages to win even against top class oppositon becuse he his style is so awkward and unique to deal with. He adapts throughout the fight to his oppositon and his frenetic workrate is simply too much for any fighter he has ever faced, Toney certainly would be no different.

I see it Joe pulling out a close UD, Toneys counter punching vs Joes Volume punching ultimately I think Joe will outland him by a significant amount whereas Toney will land with alot less frequency but harder leading to a close hard to score UD

Co-sign... Calzaghe wins by UD imo

It depends on which Toney shows up. If he was not 100%, he would lose to Joe. Toney was masterful when he was on, when he wasn't he made what should have been easy fights difficult. Calzaghe would have been difficult from the start even against a motivated Toney.

It's very possible Toney get's outworked. He got outworked by Mike Mccallum the second time around leaving Toney to spend the majority of the fight shooting off the right hand

Toney's prime is very overrated,An extremely padded record with nothing to show but McCallum, Nunn and a few gift wins
I thought a draw with McCallum was a fair result in the first fight , I had McCallum winning the rematch by a couple of rounds. As big a fan of Toney's as I am I think Joe C would outwork him to get a UD.

joe lacks class and in the ring during hes prime toney had an abundance of it
