So 80/20 is what Usyk expects to get if it goes to a purse bid.
The rules of a WBO vacant belt are this,

If the fight is held in the country of origin, residence or nationality of one of the contender, the resident contestant shall receive 40% and his opponent shall receive 60% off the total purse offered

They may wait for the first undisputed fight to be over ? If that’s the case the reason above may be why they are fighting over the location ? One is willing to give up more but get hometown advantage ? The numbers thrown around by Usyks team isn’t true at all ,it sounds like a stall tactic or ploy to to let team Joyce have 60% just to get a win if the fight is close , A Joshua or Fury fight is worth much more .

This is ridiculous and both sides know it. People have to be reasonable... Usyk is the bigger name, but he is still the new kid on the heavyweight block. Should be 70-30 or close.

Looks like Usyk is trying to get out of this fight. That split is horrible. Maybe Usyk should take the amount equivalent of his first 3 fights and let Joyce take the rest? Didn't think so.

Usyk and his team over the past months are starting to sound American. I thought better of you Usyk.

Get clarification on the Wilder/Fury legal situation first.
No point because Wilder's team is in negotiation with Fury's camp for a step a side fee. It's quoted to be around 5-10 million. It must have finalised by now as Fury and Joshua signed the undisputed.

Usyk doesn't want it, he had to work for every second of every round in the WSB against Joyce, and that was only 5 rounds and Usyk was a younger, fresher man.

Old man Chisora showed Usyk his mortality in their fight, Usyk won but didn't look special at all.

He wants no parts of a 12 round fight with big Joe Joyce.

Usyk will try to avoid that because Joyce beats his ass.

Looking forward to this fight, the split that Uskyk is looking for is wild though
