Lol at ppl actually believing Charlo. If fans didn't fall for the bait & switch for so many yrs on end, these guys would be forced to finally step up. I will go on record right now as saying I think Jermall is all talk,& hes bluffing about Benevidez & won't fight him this yr or ever.(If I'm wrong I'll eat crow, but I have no reason to believe Jermall will suddenly decide to start backing up his bluff by going all in for greatness)

Its far more likely that he is just talking big as hes done his entire career. While his brother eclipses him completely.(&I think Mall's a elite fighter, just all bluff is all)

I truly believe that Benavidez style is tailor made for Charlo, but we will see what happens when they fight. Remember when GGG was fighting weak comp and we complained that he got hit too much? Well, the thing is Benavidez is fighting even weaker comp, getting hit a lot more than even GGG was, and taking longer to get those guys out of there. He's a good fighter and I'm a big fan don't hear me the wrong way. But if you look at his last fight with Ronald Ellis, Ronald was landing a lot of punches on him and he was taking Benavidez shots no problem. You know Charlo isn't gonna get hit that much and he's gonna fire back much harder.

It's a fight I do think Benavidez could win, but he's going to have to show a great chin, which maybe he does have, and have to eat 2 shots to land 1. I do think Charlo is the better boxer and hits harder though, Benavidez advantage will be his size and maybe his chin. I admit that not everyone can move up in weight and use that skill and speed to make these bigger guys look like bums the way Canelo is doing, but I also still think 168 is kinda weak and Charlo should take this.

Also, it's pretty clear that he has zero chance of getting the Canelo fight unless he fights Benavidez. It should be an easy fight to make.
To be fair, Ronald Ellis hadn't been stopped before his fight with David & he really didn't do much after because David immobilized him.

Basically. Brian Custer helping master Haymon after a shared sauna bath. The YouTube titles even misleads viewers by stating “Canelo, Plant, 168” or including the words “unification.” Such sloppy propaganda for damage control because Haymon can’t stop the hype Benavidez has created. I think Haymon expected Benavidez vs Plant exclusive drama but now it’s shifted. I think David knows FOR SURE PLANT is getting the Canelo fight that’s why David is desperate to fight another PBC “star” to help Haymon, especially since his last ratings were poor.

I doubt. Charlo will drop his belt and fight Benavidez at 168 for nothing?

I saw the interview and because they are both under the same PBC Banner, not like Ryan Garcia and Tank which we all know wasn’t going to happen.
