I wonder if they negotiated ESPN for the first one, then DAZN for the second one?
I skimmed through the article so I will go back and read it again. From what I recall, ESPN PPV stateside and DAZN the rest of the world.

If it's on ESPN PPV and not once on DAZN why the heck are we paying $100 a year for a subscription???

That's what I'm saying, I don't doubt KTFOKING, but I don't want to believe Hearn DAZN would do their US customers like that.

Yeah, that's pretty F-ed up for them to do us subscribers that way. I paid the yearly subscription to watch Canelo, AJ and the rest without having to worry about paying for PPV. Now that I think about it, if it is on PPV only, I'll stream it.

I mean you are still getting good value for $100 dollars though, even if this fight is on PPV.

You just HAVE to put this fight on PPV though. It's too big and the fighters are going to have ridiculous guarantees. Biggest money generating fight in the sport. You are doing a disservice to your fighters if you don't put it on PPV.

Would ESPN even allow DAZN to just sell this fight to their subs? I mean i was watching Estrada v Gonzalez last saturday and DAZN were talking about Povetkin/Whyte 2. I got excited thinking i was getting it as per of my sub, then i realise that it might only be the American market that would be getting that fight as per sub, and us UK fans would have to pay Sky as per PPV (I refuse to pay for PPV). So i doubt ESPN would allow a fight that they would sell for 80-100 dollars (Confirmed price?) to be just on DAZN subs.

No way would they allow that. Only way DAZN would be involved is if it is a dual PPV like it was for Wilder/Fury when FOX/ESPN were involved. But no one would buy the PPV off ESPN if you could just watch it from your DAZN subscription.

Funny you say that, but it's always confusing when they say the fight is on DAZN! But then you realize it on DAZN from the other side of the pond lol. I think even Hearn has mentioned how it gets confusing to his followers when he tweets stuff saying the fight is on DAZN in one country but not the other.

I work for myself so it really doesn't matter.

I kinda like mid afternoon fights. I quit working early, get dinner early, chill out with an excuse. My media room has no windows and does have a projector. I'mm be lazy, fat, and happy I tell y'all what.
