I have been a boxing fan over 50 years going back to middleweights Ray Robinson, Gene Fuller Carmen Badilio, Gasper Ortega and a host of others. Always you watched the Friday night fights with my dad. Marvelous Marvin was a throwback boxer with an unparalleled work ethic dedicated to his craft. Best pure middleweight boxer in my lifetime. Rentless puncher with a chin made of stone. I saw the majority oh his fights and I can’t remember him being wobbled in the ring. He never cherry picked his opponents and ducked no one. Shocked at his passing. RIP Marvelous One.
