Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury: I've Stopped Training, Taking Time Off Until a Deal is Done

Tyson Fury says he has stopped training and won't go back into camp until he is given a date for his fight with Anthony Joshua. Speaking at ringside at Friday night's MTK Global show, where he was supporting his close friend Isaac Lowe, Fury claimed that he didn't have any confirmation that the fight was going ahead and that he had stopped training and was drinking ten pints of beer a night.

Don't forget that he's still a Gypsy and that means he's always up to something.. Billy Joe Saunders has been speaking along the same lines when being questioned about his fight with Canelo. Saunders is a Gypsy too.. these are people who out think people. Be careful

Fury will only fight AJ if the fight is fixed like the Wilder and Klit fights.

Good to see Fury fans not giving him the business for avoiding the Wilder rematch.

He says that but then his social media posts are him “training”.... running / walking, shadowing boxing, heavy bag etc

sure he isn’t sparring but he is keeping in fight shape.

Looks like he's about to retire again without defending his belt.

Reminded me of his interviews just before he pulled out of the Wlad rematch. Can't tell with Fury, is it mind games, is he losing it again or is he lacking confidence now that the AJ fight could be a reality? It was a negative interview either way.

You never know with Tyson but I feel he needs to fight very soon to keep the unfortunate demons away if nothing else. Tyson is levels above Joshua but can't slacken off and give him his only chance of victory ....complacency.
