The Crown believes Joseph Parker was connected to an international drug ring operating in methamphetamine - something the heavyweight star has been trying to keep secret for almost two years.

Man wtf? It sickens me that the hip hop boxing police go after fighters for being involved with shady ppl.(drugs should be legal, every human being in history has been on drugs of some kind, most illegal drugs pale in comparison to legal psychotropics, ffs meth comes from otc meds) the only drugs the government bans are the ones that work, they don't ban Ritalin or its ilk despite countless mass killers being on them, or the fact they destroy the body, but heaven forbid a drug makes you feel better it gets banned or heavily regulated to stop morons from od'ing....

True. It's just a conspiracy with insuffient evidence to back it up fully 100%.

Still though, wrong accusations, rumors, this is going to tarnish his character and reputation a wee bit.

Damn. Wasn't he making enough money in pro boxing already? Been signed with Eddie Hearn promotions?

Or did he use for personal use to enhance his performances?

This is a bit big because it's Class A drugs of importations - it's going to tarnish his reputation and character in the field.

                I'm not white!

Hmmm. The Crown prosecution alleged in court he was involved in effectively money laundering for the ring, but brought no charges.

The police found evidence he knew all the men involved. A text from a Californian meth supplier to one of the men found guilty read:": 'Alright bro..I got u tho..have all ur money..the dude I was with that's on my snapchat is going to change it to U.S currency..they won't question him bout all the money..cause he's the WOB boxing champion so pple know he rich anyways so he'll be good to change it with no hassles"

On the other hand, Parker has given a sworn affadavit denying helping any of the convicted men with either importation of class A drugs or changing or transporting currency. And he of course has not been charged.

The police did obtain a search warrant to obtain Parker's cell phone, but each occasion when they went to see him, he was out of the country. He engaged legal representation and told them he wouldn't speak to them.
