  • Comments Thread For: Joshua: Fury Can Bring Whatever He Wants - My Job is To Close The Show!

WBO, IBF, WBA, IBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is not paying attention to the verbal antics of WBC champion Tyson Fury - and promises to avoid his in-ring antics as well. Fury is well known for the mental antics he applies before and during a fight.

That needs to be his mindset. AJ needs to come in with the mindset of roughing Fury up & making it a 7 round fight or less than 12 anyway. Or Eddie gonna have to find some extra corrupt judges to find a way to rob Fury on the cards. Or if they wanna get creative I'd be having coke dealers offering Fury a lil something something daily so he goes off the rails.

I think you know even less about boxing than you do about politics

this is NOT the right mindset to face Tyson Fury... " I’m looking past him "

that mindset did not work for Wlad, and that mindset did not work for Wilder

Joshua has already shown that he has flaws, that he is limited, and that he is mentally weak

Fury can beat AJ anyway he wants

From here on anytime AJ hurts an opponent and is willing to try and “finish the show” be it successful or not I’ll be impressed.

This kid is gonna knock Fury out. Then all the cheating and speculation will be gone!

That's a far shot, especially if we get the Fury from the second Wilder fight.

"My job is to close the show." This from the guy that both lost by TKO to Snickers Ruiz and then used a 25 foot ring to run from Super Snickers Ruiz.

Styles make fights. I used to think it was a foregone conclusion but I'm not so sure Fury has an easy time with Joshua. Joshua is a better boxer than Wilder, has a better jab, and has been pressured before by harder punchers.

So yeah it may seem like an easy pick but if Joshua decides to sit back and box I don't think even you know what's going to happen.

so what... he aint fighting Wilder, he is fighting Tyson Fury

and he has not been pressured by a 6'9 opponent with the skills/style of Fury

no idea how AJ could beat Fury... and I bet AJ's corner have no idea either

Spot on, people comparing wilder to fury... smh, styles make fights and as said Fury is ALL wrong for Josua, just like canelo takes the fight away from his opponents, Fury also does that in a different way, wladimir had one of fhe best jabs in heavyweight history but Fury negated that using his awkwardness and movement. If Fury comes out and goes straight at Joshua, AJ is going to get stopped cause he cant fight going back, fury wont let the ruiz 2 tactics work, not many boxers can fight with a giant like fury imposing himself on them. This for me is a far gone conclusion. Fury wins however which way he pleases, joshua is good, but Fury is levels above any other heavyweight out there. Those who believe Joshua gonna do something are blind followers or fury haters, but facts are facts...
