So obviously Garcia is getting the retirement fund payday he's been begging for . Disappointing match up but Pacquiao was never gonna fight Spence or Crawford for the kind of money that is available. There were other, better fighters available at 147 though.

Beating Mikey at WW does zero for legacy...and I struggle to understand how he could be kn need of money..but who knows?!?
If he is set on one more fight a Crawford win does wonders for his ATG ranking...but Pac would NOT be the favorite in that fight...tread carefullybrown_knight06 likes this.

Manny doesn't want Crawford and it's easy to see why, he doesn't want his next fight to be his last . Manny at this stage has to have a retirement plan so Bud doesn't fit..but don't count out him fighting Bud or Spence for big money as a grand finally . Garcia v Manny is a pick'em. Garcia is better suited to the smaller Manny type fighter.Shadoww702 likes this.

How much more proof do we need that pac really wants nothing to do with Crawford? He says he wants 40 mil for Crawford but definitely won’t be making that to fight Mikey. In addition Mikey brings next to nothing to the table. No belts, no top p4p status, the respect of boxing fans went out the window with his shameful performance against Spence. Yet that’s the direction pac is leaning in.siablo14 likes this.

The plan was always two fights anyway. Considering how long he’s been out of the ring, he’s likely being stressed to at least take a more of a tune-up type fight before taking some crazy challenge like Crawford at 42/43. Mikey is still a dangerous fight, despite the little respect Pacquiao will get for beating him.
