They don't. But he's getting a lot more to face Valuev than he'd have got to face Vitali, because Valuev offered him a split of all of the worldwide revenues. If Haye had fought Vitali, the deal was that Vitali would get 100% of the gate, and 100% of the worldwide TV revenues, with the exception of the UK TV revenues. Haye would have got an (undisclosed) percentage of the UK PPV revenue and that's all he'd have got.

It was a similar deal for the Wlad fight, but the Wlad fight at least offered him a guaranteed purse (from Setanta, who have since gone bust). The Vitali fight didn't offer him any guaranteed money at all, not even a cent.

That's a completely meaningless statement because if Haye had fought Vitali, the contract stated that Vitali would get 100% of the gate, and 100% of the worldwide TV revenues, with the exception of the UK TV revenues. Haye would have got an (undisclosed) percentage of the UK PPV revenue and that's all he'd have got. He wouldn't have seen a cent of the money from the 100 countries it would have been televised in - that would all have gone to Vitali.

I'm glad david haye didn't bend over like arreola, and take the klit bros demands up his backside. Haye will beat valuev, then ruiz, and after that, the klit bros will have no choice but to offer him a fair deal. Haye is far more dangerous than the fat, out of shape, arreola.

What makes you think Arreola bent over? AFAIK he was offered a reasonable deal. I think the reason Haye was offered such a crappy deal was to put him in his place and punish him, after his arrogant badmouthing of the Klitschkos - and to show him he didn't have the bargaining power he thought he had. They wanted to humiliate him. Also, Arreola didn't jump the queue to the same extent as Haye did, which was also a factor in why they treated Arreola with a lot more respect in the negotiations.

No doubt in my mind who wins this fight but i just feel with older age, two fights in 5 years, gasping for air against Gomez makes me feel arreolas best chance is for the fight to gotowards the championship round.

Bent over for by far the biggest payday of your career, which goes for Haye and Arreola, pretty funny, huh?

You can see the Klits are trying to save face, otherwise why would they say Arreola would earn more money than Haye would for Valuev, Am sure they didnt negotiate the Valuev deal on Haye behalf, They're just desperate and trying all sort to restore there damage image.

Haye's image has been damaged far more than theirs has. Wlad is now the first Ring Heavyweight champion for 5 years, and dominated Chagaev, who is ranked far higher than Haye is, at very short notice. Vitali is taking on Arreola who is also ranked higher than Haye is.

But if Haye KOs Valuev, and then Ruiz, he can rebuild his image. His career now depends on whether he backs it up in the ring in those two fights.

Haye is far more dangerous than Arreola huh! That's pathetic considering the fact that David Haye has only had 2 fights at heavyweight. Vitali should destroy Chris but I see the Mexican Heavyweight Warrior destroying this punk!! Both Klitkos suck!!! The nightmare has scary recuperative abilities and will break one of Vitali's china shoulders and he will quit on his stool before the 8th round. Go Arreola!!! I want to see history!!!"peeleft:::

I don't blame Haye for pulling out... nobody fights for free.
