What’s the minimum/maximum that Plant should get for Canelo Unification?

DAZN will want to stage Undisputed on their platform. There’s no way around it; unless of course all parties agree to pay Canelo his guarantee on PBC PPV with a rematch clause exclusively on DAZN should Canelo lose. That’s the only trade off I could imagine, but PBC doesn’t have money, and fighting Plant for a $80 PPV I’m not sure Canelo’s fans will pay for that when they’re used to his new $20 deals.

I think Haymon will not take anything less than a +40% more than what Smith got. Haymon knows Plant and Smith have been about the same with career metrics, and Haymon needs to be careful to not act ******.

Plant knows that it will be his best payday and that if he’s serious for 3 belts he can’t price himself out and has ran out of excuses.

I’m not too sure Matchroom/Canelo Promotions will give the same as Jacobs or Kovalev’s purses to Plant. Those guys have had way more air time, PPV, accolades than Plant.

He is a PBC fighter, you know are that goes. They have the most entitled stable in the whole of the sport. He has the last belt, he would think he can hold it hostage up to the point that Canelo would give in to his demands. That is how their model works in PBC island. Then we would see the usual suspect online, talking about how Canelo is ducking Plant....Just watch the smear campaign.
