So just because Benevidez got popped for doing Coke and didn’t make weight for a fight he never had interest in, don’t mean Canelo can’t fight him. Benevidez is not a great boxer. He’s slow, his footwork is poor, he loops his power shots, he lunges and his defense is subpar because he hasn’t faced anyone with a chin or defense. You ASSume I have any heros in boxing. I don’t subscribe to celebrity worship hero chasers. I observe and enjoy boxers. I like them all. However, I won’t have a pity party for a boxer stripped twice and now he’s “the best” because you say he is. I’ll stick to what I said, Canelo has elite defense, elite chin, elite body puncher, elite footwork, elite jab, he is the complete package and would two piece Benevidez like a church’s fried chicken meal.

Sounds like this fight is not happening BJS is a waste everyone is going to blame it on Canelo but this is all Saunders fault what's up with the British never being in shape in between training camps that always seems to be the excuse especially when they are going up against Saul.

I said years ago why do ppl waste their time even trying to fight Saunders. I lost count how many times Saunders had a fight canceled at the last moment. He's the KING of Canceled fights.

So Canelo is elite in every category but one you miss are his stamina issues which Benevidez can exploit. You say Canelo is elite because you say he is, I’ll stick to my assessment because you can’t be elite if you were getting outboxed by a shot Kovalev who was just throwing safety jabs and outworked Canelo hahahah you can’t be elite when your fighting guys who are vastly over ranked. Benevidez is younger,taller,better work rate than Canelo, great stamina, solid chin and he knows how to cut off the ring so yeah Benevidez is the best at 168.
