philboxing isnt the most reliable source. they'll pretty much post any article from any source. the guy who wrote that particular article was the same guy who wrote that nuthugging article a while back about how pac was worshiped in mexico like in the philippines when boxing in mexico is just starting to receive mainstream attention once again.
He also never mentions the source of those quotes, "In a recent interview with the Mexican media, legendary trainer Nacho Beristain said..." I'd take Nacho's word over that dude's.

Damn boxing scene needs to do a better job a screening 'newbies'.. The low blow happened at the end of round ten. Official scores: 117-111, 116-112, 119-109.
So please tell me when Judah was winning the fight? Remember this fight was 12rds NOT 4!!!

pac beat jmm twice. barrera morales 1, castillo mayweather, delahoya trinidad were more controversial than those decisions. Jmm is simply to slow for mayweather. what will beat mayweather is speed power and ferocity which pac has.

I suppose Jorge Linares is a good sparring partner for JMM to use. I wish that guy was more active when it comes to fighting actual fights than sparring with big name fighters.

You're completely missing my point. My point was that normally if someone has been outrageously misquoted in the press, they would be very pissed off about it (some even go so far as to sue). Nacho didn't sound as if he minded at all - in fact he just glossed over it and didn't even directly say that he had been misquoted, although he indirectly implied it. His reaction is very odd to say the least.

Yeah, well I admit I stand corrected. I found the original source of the article from a Mexican boxing site and it's accurate for the most part.. although some quotes were omitted. Nacho did say that he believed Marquez would eventually find his speed but they were growing a little anxious. I suppose Nacho decided to back off from those remarks after they received so much attention.

bald marquez learns a lesson from pacquiao. this time he did not promise to win by ko or decision against uglyboyfloyd because he knew, deep in his heart, that he has no chance of winning against uglyboyfloyd. its nice to hear bald marquez saying he will go in there and fight, not predicting a win or a loss.

this time he sound like pacquiao.

but i can't understand why he is using two gloves: one heavier and the other lighter. i don't think it will work. i hope he will not use that as an excuse for using heavier and lighter gloves in training after fight night.

i also hope this will not be a boring fight.
