Benevidez is slow slow slowww. His footwork is amateur and his punches loop. Canelo is an elite counter puncher, defensive wizard and body puncher. Trust me after 5 rounds Benevidez won’t be engaging so much
GGG was old and in my book Canelo lost both fights.

      Kovalev barely landed a punch.

Let`s not act like Canelo is some monster, he is not.

Old in your book yes. Boxing old? Not close. His body hasn’t taken the wear and tear at his weight class. He’s barely been touched in the ring...no real wars...Kovalev barely landed a punch because fighters literally won’t engage Canelo once they’ve learned and felt what is coming back at them and HOW. Next to Innoue there isn’t a better boxer out there today. Both are undeniably the complete package. Both have elite defense, footwork, counter punching ability, chins, jabs, body work. Tell me where I’m wrong in that statement.

I know there’s history “rewriters” however I’ll set the record straight for you. He wasn’t hurt a single time in that fight.

Best fight to make at 168.

Benavidez poses Canelo along with Plant stylistically his hardest fights.

I like this. Doubt it happens but I like it.
