Agree, makes for a good rematch in 2-3 fights time if both keep winning

Davison will be taking a flat fee as well most probably, Josh probably wanted the cheapest option possible after having to pay half his purses to Barry McGuigan.
I normally agree with most of your posts but don’t see where the hate for Davison is coming from?

Agree he is largely unproven but seems a very intelligent trainer, reads the game well I think

I just don’t rate him mate, I think he’s a PT masquerading as a trainer. Fury looked much better without him. Saunders looked terrible with him. I think he’s massively under-qualified to be training these sort of guys.

Tbf the way he has arrived on the scene it does look like the whole PT route! But then he talks a very good game.

Agree with the Fury Saunders point but I think Fury was down to the situation, coming off the long lay off etc and I think Saunders is down to his own motivation and the fights it related to.

whats your thoughts on Booth? Cos he did pretty much come up as a PT! But again really like him, seems very knowledgeable!

Booth is a good tactician but his training methods are notoriously crazy and the trend is they tend to cause long term damage to his fighters bodies. Look at Haye, Groves and Burnett for example.

That’s a very good comparison actually mate Booth very much blagged his way into boxing like Davison has. Maybe Davison will prove himself to be a competent trainer like Booth has over the years but the jury’s definitely still out for me. I’ve not been convinced by Davison at all as of yet.

Burnett’s was such a random injury! And the others do have a history of jnjuryes

talking about crazy methods I remember the shoes he had to train Haye for the Valuev fight!!
