the reason wada did that is because there is no test to determine the difference as to whether it was used deliberately or through meat. Every time a Mexican gets caught, they say it was meat. So being able to prove they’re cheaters is tough. So yes, wada threw in the towel and basically acknowledged that the only way someone would serve punishment is if we catch them within a week of deliberately taking it. The science is clear, you can take clen on purpose and trace amounts will be all that remains less than a week later. But as I stated, canelos sudden inability to make 160 anymore, the fact that he tested positive the one time they went to test him in Mexico and the furthest out from a fight they ever tested him , the fact that Reynoso is a butcher, the fact that canelo has more than enough money to take precautions to avoid a “known problem “ all had to be ignored. Not to mention that canelo did vada 24/7 for one year, he let the world know and then quiet as a mouse, discontinued doing it. The amounts of clenbuterol found in Canelo's tests were consistent with eating tainted meat. He has since done VADA testing numerous times (including his last two fights), hasn't been dirty again, and has performed BETTER than when he was supposedly using a PED.
