I feel for Canelo, it's not his fault he's fighting in an overall poor era for MWs.

It's quite a strange comparison, but if you want to compare pound for pound, sure, Canelo is more well rounded than Tyson.

But Mike Tyson, pound for pound, had better hand speed, footwork and greater punching power in his prime. Tyson is one of the greatest of all time, if you look at his prime, and then he had three years in prison, and still came out very sharp, but of course lost those few years.

I do agree that Canelo beats Saunders, Plant, Charlo and Benavidez even, but the latter two are really tough fights, and would have to see it to know for sure.

Before the fight..We're gonna beat Canelo. After. He's Mike Tyson? No your boxer is ranked 44th. Canello has already arguably lost 4 times.

We don't all know that. Don't speak for everyone here.

yea and he's cherry picking the worse of the poor. all the accomplishments against weak burnt out, slow, damaged good fighters. he'll never be a real mexican warrior like Chavez sr , morales, barrera, Lopez, Zarate, Sanchez and Marquez. they fought the best and never ducked nobody

I agree with this comment. Swinging on Canelo's **** isn't going to make Yildirim a better fighter in the future. A healthy respect is one thing but holding his **** is another thing. Either way he fought scared against Canelo. Better to go down fighting rather than giving up all together.

Nut hugging on Canelo is pathetic. Especially when you put him up against the worst possible mandate of the bunch. Canelo is no prime mime tyson. Leon didn't quit on his azz in the corner. The bum turk wolf took a 2.5 mil dive so Canelo could ride this out to the next fight. Here's 2.5 mil, just go in there for a couple rounds, don't throw any punches at Canelo and when you get knocked on your butt, that's when you quit. We don't want Canelo taking any shots in this one.

This is Eggzackly what happened. Bs corrupt boxing.

why not rank him amongst people in his weight classes
I was thinking the same thing. They're not even close to the same weight class. What an odd comparison...........

I don't think the Charlo fight will be though for Canelo. I see Charlo struggling too much with the body punishment early on and backing up most of the fight. Charlo has never really proven himself and his best win is on Dervenchenko who was coming off a war with GGG. I don't doubt he has skills, he does, but there are levels to boxing and Charlo isn't close to Canelo.
