Joseph Parker has one foot out the door

He just parted ways with his trainer because he doesn’t want to leave New Zealand to train.

And if you look at his career, he’s always making the biggest money fight he can.

He’s going for one last big payday and then he’s gone.

The New Zealand thing is just an excuse from both Barry and Team Parker. I take that with a pinch of salt... He has to leave New Zealand to fight Chisora, so he would be training in the UK where the fight would happen. Family needs feeding and he is in his late 20s... This is his second path of his career, he has made money but he can make more in his next few fights before retirement.

Picking Chisora for his next bout shows he isn’t looking for titles or fighting the best!

he wants to cash out then become an actor/Instagram star!

I have stated similar on another thread.

Parker has achieved all what he wanted to achieve 'He has been World Champion, and fought well in some big fights'.

Chisora is a stay busy against a real fighter and positioning for another title shot while getting his name back out into UK hearts and minds.

He beats Chisora and it shows he's still a draw, comparable to Usyk and that he's not ducking anyone.

He doesn't need the money, the fame or the politics. He needs the challenge cos that's what we as Pasifikans do.

Our culture is built on challenging each other, the elements, the gods to prove ourselves worthy of being proud descendants from illustrious ancestors.

It's about Mana, which for those who don't understand, ask Aunty Wikipedia or Cuzzy Google.

Parker probably does train to the level of his opponent, like Tyson Fury in some ways.

He would have to up his game vs Chisora, but for sure 'He has the ability to win over 12 rounds vs Chisora'.

Only if he ups his game.
