If anything, I think Ponce should take an easier fight. I don't think Rafa has any problem with him but it's another loss for Ponce who should take an easier fight coming back, but who knows, I like Ponce, I dont want to see him waste his career from bad choices.He has heavy hands but Rafa has mad skills.

Very interesting fight would love to watch. I believe Rafa is too talented of a boxer for Ponce, without taking anything from Ponce, but his defense and boxing will be exploited easily by Rafa. Ofcourse you cannot discredit the potential of Ponce connecting a solid punch and ending it in tko fashion. Hopefully we'll see juanma/rafa soon after if not before, that would be a much more interesting and debatable bout for most fans..

Ponce De Leon would get snuffed out in this fight big time. Rafael Marquez would just punch in between those crude ass shots he throws. And I don't understand why the WBO is making this announcement when Rafael's last fight was at Featherweight. I'm wondering about that one like a lot of other people are.
