The irony is that Mayweather has this little joke where he says that Ray Leonard lost a LW (Duran)

How ironic would it be if himself was to lose to a LW.

If Shane Mosley is a natural Lightweight, than why do you Floyd fans claim that he is all that much bigger than Mayweather?

          Weight

If you want to look at it that way, then Floyd is a Featherweight. The big challenge is all stacked against Marquez. He is jumping two weight classes. He didnt have any tune up fights or hasnt been fighting at this weight, where Floyd has. Even with the chips stacked up against him, Marquez is NOT to be taken lightly. Floyd will probably win with his holding and running ugly style. He will bore everyone to death and probably get the decision but Marquez will be there to fight. Dont count Marquez out and this will not be an easy fight for Floyd as most people think. I cant wait until Manny knocks out Floyd.

bald marquez thought he can do a pacquiao: beating delahoya. delahoya was four divisions heavier than pac's original weight. but pacquiao is pacquiao. bald marquez is bald marquez.

all uglyboyfloyd need to do is to stick to his boring style: running and holding and elbow his opponent. and presto, he will win on points again.

uglyboyfloyd need not train at all. all he has to do is to run 2o kilometers every morning. anyway, he will not engaged with marquez toe-to-toe.

Mayweather will win a boring fight, and probably stop Marquez late.

The fight can be summed up like this: Floyd, who has essentially always had the size of a junior middleweight, without the weight, is fighting a 36 yr old lightweight who has been in a bunch of brutal wars the past few years.

The fight is not even going to be a fight. It's absurd that it's happening. Golden Boy and HBO are both part of the problem in boxing. This is why the UFC is taking over, fights like Mayweather-Marquez. The fight is not the fight fans want to see either in, and it's a fight that shouldn't happen. I honestly don't think boxing fans should even support the fight, and make a statement.

Now the only thing we don't know is if boxing fans made a statement and didn't order the PPV... can't wait to see the numbers... if the fight tanked in PPV there's hope for boxing...

The fight turned out to be pretty good, actually.

The only bored people I could barely see walking out of the arena were the ones who had money on Marquez to win. And those were very few.

Dude, you need to seriously watch more boxing if you think that turned out to be a good fight. The fight was garbage. Floyd tried to make it look more competitive than it ever was. You could literally see Floyd let Marquez have chances to punch, just to try and make it look like a fight.

It was sad. It was not in any way, shape or form a "good fight."
