There is something about this fight that tells me Floyd is going to get knocked out.

greenburg is just hyoing the fyt....

no way floyd understimted any opponent., specially this fyt with marquez.
a lot is at stake for floyd,..my guess is that he'll go for a ko in order to impress everybody and gain the upperhand when he negotiates with manny...if it ever happens!!

Unless Mayweather has slipped dramatically he wont have any trouble with JMM imo, especially not of JMM who takes the lead and is the aggressor in the fight, which he is expected to be, he gets hit too easy when he comes foward and i cant see anyone beating Floyd when he is in his element counter punching and he is getting time and space, which is what he will get against Marquez.

there is a lot of difference.

marquez is a career featherweight and is small lightweight, mosley started at lightweight and was massive there he also had tune ups at 147.

truth now is that floyd is fyting in many fronts.
                  - there is of course marquez to beat.
                  - his ppv numbers is worrying him too much.
                  - he is pressured to showcase his best and win convincingly...not just win.
                  - the police is after his butt...myt get a charge sheet next days.

Threads like this are silly. It's going to do nothing but up the PPV numbers putting false hope in boxing fans hoping for a good fight.

Mayweather will win a boring fight, and probably stop Marquez late.

The fight can be summed up like this: Floyd, who has essentially always had the size of a junior middleweight, without the weight, is fighting a 36 yr old lightweight who has been in a bunch of brutal wars the past few years.

The fight is not even going to be a fight. It's absurd that it's happening. Golden Boy and HBO are both part of the problem in boxing. This is why the UFC is taking over, fights like Mayweather-Marquez. The fight is not the fight fans want to see either in, and it's a fight that shouldn't happen. I honestly don't think boxing fans should even support the fight, and make a statement.

How can he not take him lightly? Marquez is a lightweight.
