Lol, all these guys you mentioned HAD more power than Saunders. Secondly they still lost ( Mayweather blah blah), third, that was many years ago and anyone who knows anything will acknowledge that canelo has gotten better and a bigger puncher every time out.

It's not only the style but the amount of looks he can give out of it - Lara had all the style needed but maybe a few different looks out of him in that fight to become the aggressor and maybe they would have given it to him. Floyd, GGG are able to give various looks. Other close fights with Trout who can't really change the pace or look

Saunders can move but he can also stand right there in a high guard and inch forward even w/o power, he can get low and come forward behind it and bend at the waist which makes if harder to land body shots...he can also make it really ugly too, will fight in a clinch and not wait for the ref

Dude has skills, he shouldn't be lumped in with some of the other UK guys taking L's as of late; he is just a clown and a flake to this point, teetering on waste of talent but maybe something happens in this fight. Canelo is probably too much of a professional to lose to a character like this but he's bringing style and a rough mentality and I'm looking forward to seeing this one.

My sense is Beterbiev vs Canelo would be close odds-wise. Maybe a virtual pickem off of Beterbiev's power, as power is often overhyped, but who knows.
