Usually white fighters do a better job avoiding a late return to the sport than we (blacks) do, for
a) no one really want to see them lose (we aren't racist and their own people for obvious reasons), it doesn't work the other way around btw.
b) he knows better. yes i admit, despite limited skills inside the ring he did some of the best career management decisions ever for a fighter. He has two legends in his record he shouldn't have had in normal circumstances as the first round KD demonstrated. Both a prime Roy or a prime Bernard never ever let a KD get away and end up losing, but in the end of their careers their records indicated otherwise: No KOs or TKOs in years. Most would probably let this statistics unattended, not Joe's people, no. Although it is not enough for any non insane people to consider him an ATG he does hold Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr. in the W list, no one can take that away from him. But if he's really broke i think he will return.

i dont think he will fight again because there is nobody out there for him to fight. Only if there was a big name fight with a big payday then he might consider a return.

I voted yes because I have a feeling he'll come back but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't.

Froch would have been a big-pay after he beat taylor. And I think it would have been a good fight for Calzaghe because I have him winning in a lop-sided beat down of Froch by decision. Froch wanted Calzaghe so badly that I believe Froch would have went up to 175 for the fight.
