    Is frank Warren relevant anymore?

I was listening to five live boxing podcast today and realised there was actually a boxing event on BT sport this weekend. Firstly, I was shocked given that usually I know when fights are on, even the Italian ones on dazn! So makes me wonder how and where the promotion for this event was at all. But then they went on to defend Tommy fury fighting someone who was 0-9 in previous fights? I know bunce works for BT but surely that is indefensible? Matchroom have managed to put on a lot more close fights since the lockdown, arguably many less high profile fights but definitely more competitive. So how do you compete by putting fights like that on?

who does frank actually look after of interest to anyone now, I can’t actually think of anyone obvious at all. Kid Galahad maybe? Tyson fury remember is not looked after by frank so I don’t include him.

what’s others views ? Do you think it’s time he passed on to someone younger and fresher to the business similar to Barry passing the baton into Eddie a number of years ago?

Honestly, UK boxing as an whole is going through bit of a rough stretch. The HWs are still holding it down but not many stud up and comers. That's going to need to change. Maybe it does after the Olympics as some promising youngsters will turn pro.

Remember the card was originally Frampton-Herring and then the co-feature fell out due to COVID, so it didn't leave much.

He's not overly relevant right now no, he has a handful of good fighters but it's not many, I don't know what his deal is with Fury but that's the thing that keeps him the most "visable"
