Yildrim as advertised folded right along the dotted lines. He put up no resistance what so ever. Embarrassing performance that will stick with him for the rest of his career.

Disapointing?! Anyone who knows boxing was already saying the guy doesn't belong in the same ring and is onlt there because it's a madatory defense. Let me get this right Eddy, a beating wasn't good enough for you, you wanted to see the guy get some more brain damage correct? Even one of the commentator laughed at this guy's claims/comments and that on DAZN lol. It's like watching a snake oil salesman pushing his tonic in the old west. Who says aliens don't exist Eddy is 50% Ferengi!!!

I was disappointed as we were heading toward a Kirkland like highlight reel KO.

I normally don't bust on any fighter with the balls to get in the pro ring but that fight was a disgrace. Obvious skill difference aside Yildirim should've at least thrown the kitchen sink at Canelo for a round or two. No heart. He should be somehow penalized for that dog**** performance. Tim Tomashek was pulled out of the ****ing crowd to fight Tommy Morrision for his WBO belt and at least gave it his all. As was said Yildirim and his team should be fined, makes the sport look like a joke.

Yeah I thought he was KO'd in round 3 until late yesterday I finally caught the highlights and noticed round 3 ends then he quits during the rest period...

He NEVER Belonged in the ring with Canelo! I'm glad it happened and now it has WBC President Suleiman re-evaluating things and hopefully the rest of these Belt Organizations as far as how Mandatory's are made. Take #1-4 in your Rankings and order Round-Robin Eliminators and let them actually EARN their shot. Stop promising Promoters and Fighters title shots they did not even earn!

Nah, what’s disappointing is anyone involved in making this “fight” happen in the first place and actually expecting anything different than what happened. Bozos

Yes, as disappointing a fight that it made for, I can see it that way too. WBC was more at fault for insisting on Yildrim as mandatory.

What's disappointing is hearn only paid him 2.5 mil to take a dive.

Yildirim was ONLY there to guarantee Canelo a knock out but Yildirim had other ideas. Obviously smarter than he looks, Yildirim put in 3 rounds and picked up a million and went home without the highlight beating. I'm actually glad Yildirim took his check and went home, it exposed the sham fight for it was.
