Comments Thread For: Kyrone Davis: I Thought I Beat Anthony Dirrell - 116-112

Tough contender Kyrone "Shut It Down'' Davis disagreed with the outcome of Saturday night. He fought two-time super middleweight champion Anthony "The Dog'' Dirrell to a hard-fought 12-round split draw in a WBC super middleweight title elimination match in the main event of FOX PBC Fight Night from the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles.

Davis boxed very well. His foot placement and control of distance was a bit of a surprise to me but then made sense upon finding out Edwards trains him. Close fight, I thought David edged it 115-113, draw is a good and acceptable outcome.

Massive respect to Kyrone & Breadman. If there is a rematch I think Kyrone will win comfortably. He has proven to himself that he belongs in the elite circles.

Here comes the mailbag butt kissers. Kyrone Davis didn’t win that fight. No sir. Y’all need to stop trying to be buddies with boxing personalities. No. He wasn’t up 5-1 like his trainer said and no he didn’t win the fight. You guys kill me.

Thank You Kyrone for saving us from having to see Benavidez vs Dirrell II

No but seriously, I thought Marcos Villegas had a good Score Card, he was scoring it close the entire fight while Kenny, Lewis and Goossen seem to called it more in favor of Dirrell all fight. Better Head Movement and Defense from Kyrone this fight, should 100% stick with this style.

Fight was more competitive than Canelo vs Yildirim sadly. I was OK with a Draw

We're still talking about Anthony Dirrell ? He's shot. Has been for who knows how long. Davis? If u can't beat a Dirrell, who can you beat ? Someone lesser ? Brutal.
