who has canelo beaten????? smith should have easily lost to ryder. kovalev was past his prime rehydration clause already stopped and didn't have enough time to recover from his previous fight, chavez jr sucks, yildirim sucks, jacobs overrated and looked bad against derevyanchenko before canelo, etc. etc.

only good fighters canelo fought who wasn't grossly past their prime was floyd, lara and ggg. and he easily lost to all of them.

Definitely, but it’s not this fight that makes me think like that, beterviev style doesn’t beat Canelo IMHO. The sad reality is you can destroy anyone’s resume in an instant, but honestly that just shows that you aren’t paying attention to what’s in front of you.

I said after the Smith fight, I would give Benavidez a shot, but I think he needs another 12 to 18 months of development to really have a chance against Canelo. I'm not picking against Canelo vs anyone at 168 or below. Beterbiev and Bivol have real shots to beat him at 175 and Beterbiev would be the favorite imo. If he ever decides to come out of retirement, I think Gvozdyk is the worst possible matchup for Canelo, 175 and under. But right now, Beterbiev and Bivol are the only guys I think would have a realistic chance to take him down.
