This was a tune up canelo had to take no surprise here but these guys are now beaten before they even step in the ring.

Plant and Boo Boo would give him major trouble but I think Canelo still edges those out. David Benavidez is the only guy I think who could beat him.

Benavidez is too green right at this moment. Not enough big fights or experience. He hasn't fought anyone at that level. Canelo would do him like Callum Smith but maybe worse since David won't back peddle. It would behoove benavidez to fight better competition like charlo and plant first, maybe zurdo Then when he's around 27 and canelo is like 34, 35 benavidez can win.

Thats half of his last 6 fights he was at some risk of losing.

I wouldn’t get too excited about this performance. He did what he had to do vs that level of fighter. Which is always good. You definitely don’t want to go 12 with a guy like Yildirim when you’re #1 P4P.

I think his 12 rounds vs Callum Smith was more impressive and praise worthy.

Maybe so, it is a very poor landscape from middle-weight to Light Heavyweight these days.

I still think Eubank Junior will give him a tough fight, with his intensity and determination. Alvarez still does not have man gears, but nobody has been really good enough to push his engine.

Carl Froch, Andre Ward are past middle-weights that would of beaten Alvarez etc the landscape right now is just really poor.
