I’d be surprised. Saunders is tough. Never been dropped or anything.

Canelo rarely stops good opponents. He didn’t look close to stopping the likes of Jacobs and pretty much landed at will on Callum Smith and didn’t stop him. He stopped Kovalev but he’s washed up and been getting stopped and hurt in his previous few fights. Yildirim got folded in three rounds by Eubank Jr. so there’s not much to read into that stoppage

The fact Saunders doesn’t generally get hit that much and doesn’t really get hurt, I see it being pretty much a 12 rounder.

It really wouldn’t surprise me if the styles almost cancelled each other out and it becomes a very boring fight. I’ve seen a couple of people say it will either be a stinker, or some brilliant technical boxing match for as long as it lasts, 12 or not. and I think that’s probably right. I think it will be one of those two things.

Idk why so many folks are so confident in this BJS wants out angle. I dig that BJS is having fun with it with all the training in India, in the hospital & bleeding **** stuff on Twitter doe. I think it's more likely BJS goes into the fight at less than ideal condition, like if he gets legit injured in training, rather than cancel a fight he may never get again if it were called off.

And I'm really confused why some even think like you that BJS is gonna lay down. BJS's issue to me as always been motivation. And he's not had a fight he's cared much about in 3 years I'd guess. Canelo is The Fight. It's a solid bet we'll be seeing the best version of BJS.

That said I'd be surprised if this is a 5/10 for casual fan entertainment value. I think this is gonna be a sweet science battle where controlling where the fight happens at & taking advantage of that is gonna win more rounds.
