The WBA elevated Yordenis Ugas to "super" champion recently, but Shawn Porter still feels Ugas needs to legitimize himself as a welterweight champ. If Ugas attempts to do that against Errol Spence Jr., Porter predicted during a recent appearance on "The Ak & Barak Show" that it won't go well for the Cuban belt-holder. Ugas (26-4, 12 KOs), who almost upset Porter in March 2019, could become the next opponent for Spence (27-0, 21 KOs) because that fight would grant the IBF/WBC welterweight champ an opportunity to add another title to his collection.

This should be a good match up. I favor Spence in this match up. Hopefully, the winner of this fight gets the winner of Terence Crawford vs Manny Pacquiao. That is if Team Pacquiao are truly serious about still fighting and all. We just may get that Super fight just yet; Spence/Crawford. Hopefully, Crawford comes to his senses and freezes Top Rank totally out of the Picture with its vicious racism by telling them all to go to Hell by signing with the PBC.

Ugas doesn't have power or movement. He will get beaten by Porter so more than likely they will line him up with Garcia. Against Porter I even though he gave a good account of himself he waited too much at times and seemed confused when Porter came to box instead of coming forward.

First of all, at the least, Ugas vs. Porter was a draw! Secondly, he could legitimize himself by beating Thurman, but why fight Thurman, when he could fight Spence, who has 2 belts? That would be ******! Porter mad because he knows he's not getting good money for Crawford, and Spence vs. Ugas means no rematch for him any time soon!

Porter wants another crack at Spence, we get it, but it doesn't change the fact that Ugas is deserving of the opportunity, and not just because he was robbed in his fight against him.

People with agenda so clear, shouldn't make any comments. Just so you know, if you are reading this, 99% of the fans saw you lose the fight against Ugas. Mancini was livid that they didn't count the knockdown, when is clearly a hard punch and a fall. You know you lost that fight, we all saw your expression before the announcement and after. The mark of a good Champion is fight the best. Why fight a nobody just to have one pointless defense.

I don't know if Ugas can beat Spence but everyone knows he beat Porter so he deserves a shot. Also, I don't think Porter actually wants to fight Crawford because he could easily petition the WBO to enforce his mandatory shot then let it go to a purse bid to bypass Arum like Lopez just did
