When Bivol and Beterbiev actually fight each other, then people have a right to complain about Canelo not fighting them.

I want him to fight Charlo and Andrade just to shut some people up. Those are real easy wins for Canelo actually.

If only Andrade and Charlo would grow a set and move up to 168. It's easy for them to get the September fight with Canelo, all they need to do is get the Plant fight in May. But as it is, they want to take the easy route to the Canelo lotto ticket. They want Canelo to fight everyone out there, while they sit back and wait their turn. For that reason, and that reason alone, is why I always say F-k them, they don't deserve the Canelo payday.

What Canelo did at 175 vs Kovalev isn’t new. Pacquiao did it vs Margarito at 150 cw, who wasn’t ranked as a top 154 fighter. SRL fought Lalonde at 168 for Lalonde’s 175 belt and vacant WBC 168 belt. So this is nothing new. Canelo is not a light-heavy weight. Idk what some fans think they gain from clinging on to Canelo fighting Kovalev at 175. I’d love to see Canelo vs Bivol and Beterbiev but if the guy isn’t comfortable fighting naturally bigger and taller guys than him and he is basically admitting it, then stop calling for it or you go become pro and fight Beterniev. It reminds me of fans calling for Mayweather to fight GGG. People are ridiculous.

Canelo would clean up at 175 and the haters will say to go up to CW or HW. That Kovalev fight was cashing in an aging fighter popularity. It was a calculated risk.
Now he will fight all the champs at 168 and for some reason they will say it is cherry picking. I was not a Canelo fan but he has won me over because he really has good skills.
