Josh Kelly needs to find a new job. I know it's harsh, but let's be realistic; the kid looks good for 3 rounds.. thing is this isn't the olympics.

I'd like to see the Cheeseman fight. I think Cheeseman KOs him.

I think people are being a bit harsh. Kelly needs to work on his endurance and recalibrate his attitude. Stop trying to celebrate being ahead and concentrate on who actually finishes on top. Kelly folded in an unacceptable way, but I also thought Avanesyan got to him partially via the dark arts -- elbow created a cut on the back of the head; headbutt opened a cut on the brow; rabbit punch finished the fight.

I think he had a mental breakdown from watching all the other Joshes get beat. He tried to be a gorilla and on the gorilla scale, he doesn't register. He threw himself into this beating like he just wanted to get it over with.

LOL guy gots 12 fooking fights. His best opponents by a mile he got KO'd by & lucked out with a disputed draw against. He don't need to move up, he needs to work on his game. I don't think weight is whats holding him back from reaching his potential based on what I've seen of the guy.

Eh. Idk about that. People seem to dig the guy if nothing else. He's been one of the most hyped UK prospects for the last couple years. He can milk boxing for some paydays vs guys far less than the guys who got him bad marks on his record worse case. Probably could use some new folks in the corner to get him working on his game in some new ways. All this wannabe RJJ bs ain't working for him vs these better guys.

This was a throw of the dice by Kellys management. They knew this might happen. Its why they were so ready to pull him out at first sign of Damage. Theyre a disgrace. Kelly is a great fighter with world class talent but no discipline in the ring. He needs to stick to boxing from the outside. There is where he can win a world title. The fight was going to plan, easily out boxing his opponent till he decided to brawl. Needs a good 10 more fights to prep for elite level and better management who arnt looking for quick cash at the expense of their fighter.

A clear a case of incompetent mismanagement. Kelly has lightning speed in combinations, reflex's and footwork with talent to burn. Yet!, they, management and trainers, let him brawl, let him do all that macho bravado rubbish and they gamble with his career instead of having a careful, solid long term plan. This is a reality check. He has everything he needs to be an elite fighter except discipline in the ring, experience and the right people behind him.

He had a massive size advantage but he got walked down and beat up, that's embarrassing, OK if you are getting picked off but how do you not impose your size and physicality on the little man.
