It seems like nobody gives the guy the respect he deserves, he beat alot of the best boxers out there. One guy nobody gives him respect for around here i find is Margarito, he out boxed and controlled the fight and he use to be the "Most Feared Man in Boxing" i thought....and it seems like everyone forgets about that and that he IS a class "A" fighter
Paul Williams: Not respected in the boxing world

It could have a lot to do with his style. He just punches and punches and punches...it's like a bad martial arts movie with stock footage. Nothing really exciting happens. It's like Wladimir. He's technically brilliant but he methodically picks apart his opponents and that's not what fans want. Take Gatti. He was not a stellar boxer, but he delivered the goods. -

The Punisher is respected, but if fans have a fighter anywhere from 147-160,then the Punisher is automatically on their ****list, why, because their man can't beat him!!I love the sport for what it was & is,but believe me,the Punisher is a throwback to the glory days, the fans are so used to excuses now & talk about purses & catchweights, that they can't get into a fighter who represents the old school in modern day boxing!!Comment
