Once JMM beats Mayweather he will get discredited a few months after the victory. Look at the De La Hoya-Pacquiao fight. Almost nobody gave Pacquiao a chance to beat De La Hoya, but once he did we saw what was wrong with Oscar. The same will apply if JMM beats Floyd. People will be able to use ring rust, weight drain, a rib injury, and this gun situation as excuses as to why he lost.

I still have faith in mayweather tho in this situation, i've never known him to go overboard like this....this is somethin i would expect more from zab judah, zab has so much natural talent too which pisses me off, i honestly think he is faster than mayweather, go back and watch the first three or four rounds atleast of their fight, he was givin mayweather problems for a bit, just blazing fast.....then as always, he lost focus as usual when he can't get the other fighter outta there in first few rounds. I was proud of him in the cotto fight tho, blood and guts to the end....

If he was involved in the shooting it would seem that he's trying his hardest to get out of his fight with Marquez, you'd also would have to start questioning his injury that delayed this fight months ago.
