i figured i hear you say pacquiao. pacquiao's style isn't all that unique its just effective. he just agresses with speed and power. its not unique its just a real good style. i LOVE watching pacquiao fight and im a big fan but his style isn't so unique

If you'd asked "Who had the most graceful style, and made you think of a ballet, rather than a boxing match" I'd have piped up Ali in a heartbeat. I can't think of a fighter that appeared as balanced and at home in the ring. But you didn't, you said "unique".....so, at the risk of being stoned out of the forum, I have to say Klitchko. He's so ugly to watch, sometimes I just cringe, but for all his uncoordinated appearance, he's effective as hell, and knows what he's doing. That's part of why I get such a kick out of watching him fight....sometimes it's hard to believe he can get out of his own way, much less manage to land more punches, and outwork his opponents while slipping the vast majority of the bombs they throw his way. I can't think of any fighter, ever, that looked like him in the ring, and still managed to pull off the win almost every time. Unique, he definitely is.

I have to agree. Klit does always look so akward and he is always taking thos gulping breaths from round one on like he is exhausted. But he still manages to keep punching. I guess having that big of a body is a big drain on his O2. But I still vote for Naseem.

I've never seen Witter fight. I'll take a look. What's his story?

Tyson and the "peek a boo" style were pretty unique.

It's weird, but he inspired so many followers of his craft that Ali's bizarre hands down, reflex-based boxing style can no longer be considered "unique". Not when you've got practitioners like Jones and Mayweather keeping it alive.

I'm tempted to say Ruiz with his "one-two, hug a few"... though I'd hardly call that "style".
