Camacho is seldom mentioned because the guy was simply obnoxious. I cant say for certainty of course but it wouldn't surprise me if even Puerto Ricans didn't like him.

The guy was really good early in his career though.

Your are on the money, most Puerto Ricans didn’t/don’t like him for his bull**** antics and obnoxious persona. He was also never really fan friendly even to his own. Though, I must admit, he had more than that of a stellar career, and his hands speed and combinations were almost unmatched at the time and not to mention he’s never been KO’d.
