Fans can only go on what is reported to them, and thus far alot of shady **** has been alleged, between the will's signing and 3 weeks later the death, the way this woman has handled herself with no class since being released, and allegations that none of us can confirm or deny. Unless you're involved in the case and have some knowledge the rest of us don't, let Gatti fans have their opinion and you can have yours. It's not really cool to demean a guy who's dead either, calling him weak. You never woulda said that to his face when he's alive so draggin his name through the mud now is a ***** move.

But then, instead of taking in everything that's reported to you and spoonfed to you, believing it to be the truth and then pointing fingers and saying "the ***** did it...the ***** did it! Hang her!" - well, this exactly how witch-hunts were conducted the 15th Century.
Most of the people you refer to who post on forums are usually along the lines of:
* "that ***** did it!"
* "Gatti was a f!cukin warrior, dude!! He'd never have killed himself.....RIP champ"
* "how the hell did he stab himself in the back of the head and then end up on the couch?"
(if you don't know why I find these funny, then you're as simple as the people who post them)
People who post stuff like this....they scare me far more than anyone in Brazil ever could...
Looking deeper, reading what facts and evidence are available and then making a judgement...that's how I make my calls.
Not on whether Amanda Rodrigues was an ex-stripper...or a liar...or a cheat...or a bad parent...if I did I could easily say that Gatti was a massively flawed human as well:
We hear all these people saying that Gatti 'loved life...would never quit as a result'.
Well, from afar there appeared to be a bit of self-loathing going on in his life. The stories I've read said he frequently drank and messed around with some serious drugs to excess.
He'd party til he couldn't stand-up.
He'd often go out and leave his wife at home with the baby.
These aren't traits of someone that "loves himself".
I also found his almost "wanting" to take abuse in the ring odd. Many fights, like the Ward batles, Gatti could have avoided punishment.
It was almost as though he "wanted to get hurt".
Mind you, some people are like that - they appear to want to take physical abuse...and maybe Gatti replaced this (according to those who knew the couple) with verbal and emotional abuse he got off Amanda?
Who knows?
All I'm saying, is that I'm going on facts that have been made public and some deductions of my own:
1 - According to forensic teams, as a rule of thumb, women are NOT physically strong enough to strangle grown men. Once in awhile a woman is tall enough and strong enough to take on a grown man, but it is highly unusual according to the forensic teams research.
And the fact of him being passed-out drunk is not enough to stop a man...coming to and doing something about it.
2 - I don't see her getting other men to help her either. Consider: two thugs off the street, gained entry to their apartment, knocked Gatti unconsious then looked around and thought, "hey, look: there's a purse. Let's cut the strap off, strangle him, then hang him and it makes it look like a suicide'.
Yeah, like, they really thought that one out on the spot, right there. Utterly ridiculous.
Well, cab driver #1 that waited to get paid, cab driver #2 that bought Gatti back for the last time AND the security-guard at the Ancorar resort (and you know full-well, an upmarket place like that has security-guards): all three confirmed to police that they saw Arturo and Amanda go upstairs together.
3 - This leaves leaves a morose, drunken Gatti seeing what he did to his wife...in public, resorting to punching a hotel guard in the face, experiencing a mob verbally and physically abusing him for his actions, realising he'd left little Jr in the apartment on his own and with the possibility that his wife, who weeks before he'd renewed his marriage vows with in Paris....would finally leave him and take Jr back to Brazil for good.
I reckon that'd get ANYONE down, don't you?
Result? Arturo Gatti hangs himself with rucksack strap...after first using knife to cut handbag strap which he put around his neck and attempted first time - hence blood on strap and knife on floor.
I think, following the time in jail, realising what has happened...Amanda Rodrigues is only now coming to terms with what's happened to her husband.
For all their fights and domestics, she doesn't sound or come across as the type of woman who hated her husband enough...or wanted out of the marriage enough to wish his death upon him for a few million bucks.
Money or no money, I think she'll find it hard to start over...
In closing, I truly hope she and Arturo Jr, (and furthermore, The Gatti Family) can achieve some level of normality after this sad, horrid, shabby affair....Comment

How can she sue when she was a suspect and that is the reason they contained her. Is she like ****ing ******ed or something
I guess Oj Simpson could have sued the police for holding him in custody for the murder of his wife. /sarcasm

Even though I say she's innocent, I think what she is doing here is going a bit OTT.
She's already sent the letter to the media and given her side of events and been interviewed about it - so she should drop the matter and get on with her life.
However, I think a person can sue for wrongful arrest and imprisonment.
Which is basically what happened to her.
Anyway, her actions pretty much prove that no-one was 'paid off' during her 2 weeks in jailComment

yes i agree, while she was in jail, it would have been difficult to pay someone off, but, what about paying someone in advance and stage the entire event??? is that concept out of the question?
there were several versions of what happened that came out of her mouth within the first 24-48 hours.Comment
