the only reason cotto will beat them because he actually of his size. Now ask your self this pound for pound is cotto better than marquez, morrales, barrera. Can cotto go up all the way super middle and still dominate.

Manny Pacquiao vs Joshua Clottey? 50-50 fight

I agree with the Margo fight...

A lot of posters on here think with their hearts and not with their analytic minds. Pacman has already entertained a Margo fight, way before the plastergate. Freddie Roach confirmed that although he's a bit reluctant about Pacman's confidence if ever his protege' and Margo cross paths some day. Manny thinks Margo's too slow and plodding to catch up to him, and I see were Pacman is going. Margo will be whiffing all night. He tends to set his feet when he's about to throw a big punch ala Oscar and that will be a total mistake against the likes of Pacquiao. Tony might be able to laugh off most of Pacman's shots in the first few rounds, but it will take it's toll in the later rounds. He'll be trailing wide going into the so called championship rounds and he will be desperate, and he's bound to commit mistakes and expose himself more. Pacman UDs Margo but I wouldn't be surprised he got taken out with shot like Hatton ate...

Effective, constant pressure has a strange effect on people.

Margarito was making it look like the ring was shrinking as he walked through shots to dig in his own. Everybody he faces is quicker than him. Mosley only embarrassed him because of his experience dealing with that style out of Cali.

And lets keep in mind Sugar is no slouch in the foot speed department and even he felt Marg's power (and he said it was good). It's hard to get away from that without getting ****** in at some point.

... and since Pacman's the man and both guy brings nothing to the table too, shouldn't both Clottey and Margo go down to 140 to get a shot at Pacman? If both fight happens, you'll probably say that Roach drained both fighters while lauding Cotto's win over a blown up Diaz at 147.

            True?

Cotto stops Diaz and decisions Hatton, Oscar (Hatton may get stopped)

Pac destroys Jennings, loses to Margarito by KO and decision by Clottey (based off the Corrales fight)

Is that what Diaz and Hatton did against Pacman? Constant pressure? Look where it got them. Every boxer has different temperament when it comes to the fight game. No two boxers are alike in strategy, mental toughness and heart, that's were the difference lies between a good and a great boxer.

Margo did well against Cotto because Cotto has plans to fight in the trenches. Cotto was planning to counter Margo and he knows he will get the upper hand most of the time because he is much faster in his delivery. Cotto traded but got out of the ropes when things got hotter in the kitchen. Pacman has no plans to fight in the kitchen, he tends to fight in the ballroom where he can do his unpredictable moves and comes at you in every conceivable angle where you don't expect. Cotto usually is running on fumes in the later rounds while Pacman runs on aviation gas. Margo's constant pressure won't have the same effect on Pacman, it could even lead to his downgfall, although I'm not saying this with finality because anything can happen in boxing. Margo could knock Pacman out in the first few seconds, or vise-versa, that's why they still fight the fights up to this day...

                  styles make fights
pac wouldnt be able to hurt clottey or margarito (pre-Mosley). I compare pacs power to zab judah cause it has pop but is more speed than power.

Margarito and CLottey both beat Pacquiao. Jennings goes to Pacquiao

Diaz and Hatton go out in the first couple rounds blitzed. DLH gets koed after being tyoo dehydrated against Cotto and taking too much body punishment. DLH at his drained weight couldnt hurt Cotto either

Diaz and Hatton don't have half of Margarito's chin combined.
