He was a dirty fighter, punching hips etc. But that's the beauty of an in-figher to some. He is also incredibly bitter about Ali, but then can you blame him?! Joe helped Ali out when he was banned from boxing, then Ali went on to slander Joe... Hmmmm... Im undecided.

Anyone met his personally, from what I've gathered he's pretty bitter about his boxing career particularly Ali and any criminal record doesn't help if it's true.
