JMM is one of the greatest fighters to come out of Mexico. Sure, Floyd will be the favorite and should win, but its because its Floyd Mayweather. I don't think you can call Floyd the underdog to any opponent in his weight classes. He'll get credit for the win but the detractors will always bring things down no matter what the outcome is.

I'm just waiting on the day Mayweather steps into the ring with Pacman. One thing that wont surprise me is the boxing clinic Floyd will put on display against Pacman. Once Mayweather disposes of Pacman, he will be crowned Pound for Pound king, yet again.

And the "great" Hagler couldn't beat a WW.

So I guess Hagler is not a great losing to a WW moving up

Let me put it this way...

if Floyd wins im not going to be the least bit suprised.

However. I WOULD be suprised if JMM won in ANY fashion. decision, knockout, etc.

If JMM got a decision over floyd it would be more impressive (to me anyway) than if he just knocked him out.

I think JMM and Floyd both know whos EXPECTED to win. and I will give credit to floyd for winning the fight but if he goes on to proclaim some type of greatness by winning then that would just tick me off because we all know there was MUCH better competition out there like pacman or cotto. those two are in much better condition to be fighting someone so skilled.

no knock on JMM he's a GREAT fighter (not a good one...a great one) but his time is running out and for that reason i think floyd is getting a bit of a easier ride than if he went after pacman or cotto.

                  so yea.

I'll give Floyd full credit if he knocks out or stops a Marquez not screwed up by the weight. Winning a decision over a physically fine Marquez is not a tremendous accomplishment for Floyd.
